About Flame Tree Cottages

Flame Tree Cottages is a small independent beach hotel on the northern tip of Zanzibar, open since 2004. The cottages stand in a private garden, and a garden gate leads straight onto the sand at Nungwi.

Each cottage has a veranda, air conditioning and its own bathroom. Choose from twin, double, triple and king cottages, a honeymoon suite, or a family or quad cottage for bigger groups. The hotel arranges snorkelling trips, dolphin tours and dhow sailing, and most of the staff come from the village of Nungwi.
